Saudi King Abdullah's passed away , King Salman of Saudi will continue policy

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has died in hospital, royal officials said.
A statement was made on Friday (23/01) morning explaining brother Abdullah, Prince Salman will succeed him as king.
"Highness Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and all members of the family and the nation mourned the death of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, who died exactly at 1:00 this morning," the statement said.





Before the announcement, Saudi television broadcast verses of the Koran which often signifies the death of a senior royal officials.
King Abdullah, died at the age of 90 years, had been hospitalized for several weeks after suffering a lung infection.
Abdullah ascended to the throne in 2005 but often ill in recent years.
Half-brother Abdullah, Muqrin, has been named as the new crown prince replaces Salman, an official statement said.
All three are the son of the founder of modern Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz, who is also known as Ibn Saud and died in 1953.

King Salman speech shortly after appointed as the new Saudi ruler.
The new rulers of Saudi Arabia, King Salman, pledged to continue the policies of his predecessor, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, who died at the age of 90 years.
King Abdullah died a few weeks after being admitted to hospital due to pneumonia.
"We will continue with the policies adopted by Saudi Arabia since this country was founded," King said Salman in a speech broadcast on state television.
The speech was delivered a few hours after members of the royal family's 78-year-old was appointed as the new Saudi king.
In addition to delivering the first speech, King Salman appoint new officials.
His son, Mohammed bin Salman, was appointed defense minister.

King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz was buried on Friday (23/01).
Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, 55, who has been serving as interior minister, was appointed deputy crown prince.
The appointment of the crown prince and deputy crown prince is to ensure a smooth succession in Saudi running in the next few years.
