Putin : Normalization of Relations Subject to The West

The Obama administration has warned Russia could face additional sanctions if it does not comply with the new international agreement on Ukraine .

Russian President Vladimir Putin said nothing should hinder the normalization of relations between Russia and the West , after the relationship reached its lowest point since the post- Cold War tensions over Ukraine .

Yet Putin said the normalization of relations was not only dependent on Russia . He said it was dependent on the West . Putin 's comments were submitted by Russian news agencies of the state television interview broadcast on Saturday .

The Obama administration has warned Russia could face additional sanctions if it does not comply with the new international agreement on Ukraine or move its troops at the border into eastern Ukraine .

According to the national security adviser Susan Rice U.S. President Barack Obama told reporters at the White House that the United States has explained that the U.S. and its European partners " remain prepared to impose additional sanctions on Russia " if Russia does not fulfill its obligations .

Rice reiterated the statement of State Department spokesman Jen Psaki sure beforehand that United Russia is obliged to use its influence for restraint and pro- Russian militants withdraw occupying government buildings in eastern Ukraine .

But the leader of the militant pro- Russian , Denis Pushilin in eastern Ukraine earlier said , the people are not bound by the treaty and stop fighting after the Ukrainian government resign

5 NATO Warship to Make Use of the Baltic

The members of NATO to send warships to the Baltic Sea to improve the security of its allies in Eastern Europe respond to the crisis in Ukraine .

NATO Maritime Command on Thursday ( 18/4 ) said it would send four minesweepers and a support vessel to the Baltic Sea . The ships are from Norway , the Netherlands , Belgium , and Estonia .

NATO says it has no intention of increasing the tension in Ukraine , but wanted to show solidarity and increase alertness NATO .
