Indonesian Forum for Budget Transparency (Fitra) found six pieces of fantastic projects with a value in the House of Representatives (DPR). Value of the six projects that, based on the findings of Fitra, reached more than Rp 50 billion.

Here are six projects that:
1. Reimbursement system in the boardroom conference Plenary II building Nusantara II Rp 18,800,014,000.
2. Replacement engine air cooling in Parliament Nusantara I building valued at Rp 16 billion.
3. AC compressor chiller procurement Nusantara I Building Parliament Rp 3.294 billion.
4. Maintenance of refrigeration equipment worth USD 8.177 billion.
5. Conferencing system installation meeting of Commission I and Commission VIII and portable sound system valued at Rp 2,152 billion.
6. Replacement transformer capitol Rp 2,396,507,000.

Fitra refer to this project as "project weird", not only of the value of the project, but also because it had done a similar project two years ago and the winning bidder is actually bidder with the highest value. "That's why we call it that," said Director of Investigation and Advocacy Secretariat Fitra Uchok Sky Khadafi in a press release on Monday (13/05/2013).

Increasing strangeness, said Uchok, because based on Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) the first half of 2012, for the 2011 budget year already existing transformer replacement work. Price estimates while (HPS) which is used when it is the same with the same HPS projects this year worth of USD 2,091,106,000.

Uchok mention, PT APU won the tender with a value of Rp 2,086,143,000, while many other companies are also bidding that offer cheaper prices. He gave an example, PT ONP offering price of Rp 1,983,480,235 and Rp 2,061,171,000 Tjut PT.

For replacement and maintenance projects in the Nusantara I Building cooling Parliament each worth Rp 16 billion and Rp 8.177 billion, Uchok argue unreasonable. "The weirdest thing, there is always a project they called the budget for maintenance. But why if already purchased and belong to the government, always broken, or replaced. So money had been used for maintenance for what?" he says. Similarly, the budget for the replacement of the system in meeting rooms conference Plenary II that figure also fantastic.

With such conditions, Uchok suggested projects was terminated earlier because too many gaffes. "So suspicious nih project during the election," he said. Anyway, added Uchok, he questioned why lawmakers often meeting in luxury hotels when the House of Representatives is made completely "wow".

Uchok believes this project budgeting redundant. "Better, budget allocations for projects above strange relocated to the courthouse facilities improvement that hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable," he said.
