PT Pertamina (Persero) targeting oil production reached 243,920 barrels per day (bpd) in 2013. This production figure rose 24.4 percent compared to 2012 which is only 196,060 barrels per day (bpd).Pertamina president director Karen Agustiawan said Pertamina's subsidiary, PT Pertamina EP will contribute the largest oil production by 137,200 bpd. Then, PT Pertamina Hulu Energy (PHE) 76 000 bpd, PT Pertamina EP Cepu 10,800 bpd, and of mergers and acquisitions 19 900 bph.

"We are optimistic about achieving the target," he said in a hearing with the House of Representatives (DPR) Commission VII of the House of Representatives, Jakarta, Monday (11/2).


Gas production, Pertamina is targeting production of 1691 million cubic feet per day (quadrillion metric cubic feet per day / mmscfd) or to rise in 2012 and 1539 amounted mmscfd. Target gas production will be obtained from Pertamina EP 1 160 mmscfd and 531 mmscfd PHE.

Meanwhile, oil and gas production in 2012 reached 461,640 barrels of oil equivalent," he stated.Karen added a net income target for 2013 was USD 3.05 billion, with revenues of USD 65.2 billion. "Net income for 2013 was higher than 2012 which is only USD 2.76 billion," he said.


According to him, the net profit in 2012 that there are losses in the business side of the fuel subsidy USD 120 million and USD 541 million in non-subsidized LPG. "If no such losses, the actual net profit in 2012 to reach USD 3.42 billion," he said.
