The World Bank announced a new climate fund of 180 million U.S. dollars for the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (Forest Carbon Partnership Facility / FCPF) donation from Finland, Germany and Norway.


World Bank Vice President for Sustainable Development, Rachel Kyte, supporting ongoing commitment donor community to support the FCPF.

In addition there is a Carbon Fund approximately $ 390 million to compensate for the reduction of carbon emissions by the REDD + program.
